Torah Live’s mezuzah presentation was recently the focus of an article in the Jewish Press. Gavriel Horan writes, “Together with a team of talented graphic designers and programmers, Torah Live – a unique, multimedia educational organization – has set out to translate the Torah into today’s language. Torah Live’s most recent DVD, “Mezuzah: The Ultimate Connector,” has proved that what may have seemed like an obsolete and uninteresting mitzvah is really an essential tool for teaching the most profound messages of Judaism.

Mezuzah in LA

Rabbi Yakov Vann, Rav of the Calabasas Shul just outside of L.A., presented the Mezuzah DVD to his community this summer. “People were awed by the fact that Torah can be presented in such a state of the art, sophisticated manner,” he said. “It is incredible to be able to teach such a complex area of halacha in a way that both beginners and advanced students grasp something on their level. It’s really bringing the greatness of Torah to the community.” Buy your copy of the Mezuzah DVD today, here.
@ The Mir
25/11/2010Recently, Rabbi Roth delivered the Mezuza presentation at the Mir, Yerushalayim. Apparently, people were still talking about the halachos over lunch and several went home and changed the position of their mezuzos. Here’s the feedback we got from Rabbi Yisrael Stilerman, the Rosh Chaburah:
“The presentation was amazing! I asked the guys about the presentation and they said they were inspired, entertained, and gained a lot from it! They were specifically amazed by the technology! They want to know, what’s the next topic and when? I personally appreciate the time, energy, and resource that you put into presenting a complete package! I know and see just a little bit of what you have to do, to get where it is. Amazing! Amazing!”

While in New York last week, Rabbi Dan Roth presented the Torah Live lecture on mezuza to a crowd of 150. Ira Rabinowitz commented “Too short. I would have loved a 2 hour class!” If you attended the shiur, please chime in below in the comments!
