Rabbi Zakon’s Teachers in Training

Rabbi Roth gave a presentation to Rabbi Nachum Zakon’s teacher training group and the feedback was astounding.
18 out of the 18 people present rated it terrific and as you can see from the smiles in the attached picture it was a huge success.
The guys said they got a lot of inspiration from seeing what one can achieve in the world of education and are excited to use the material themselves.

Rabbi Ginsbury reports that Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks was “blown away” by the Torah Live material. The Chief Rabbi invited Rabbi Roth to his office to show his staff what Torah Live has managed to accomplish and would like to work with Torah Live to create a video for Yom Kippur that would be sent to the nation. We are honored to be able to work with the Chief Rabbi. Hodu L’HaShem Ki Tov!
Preparing the Mezuza DVD

Spent the day shooting with Eli Veffer for our upcoming mezuza DVD. The printing of the DVD is being made possible by the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Josh Portman in memory of their father: R Yisroel ben R’ Aharon Chechik. May they be blessed with nachas from all their children and success in all their endeavors.
Partnering with P’eir

Rabbi Mordechai Ginsbury of P’eir, the United Synagogue’s department for Rabbinic skills enhancement, sat down for a chat with Rabbi Roth and discussed the possibility of a partnership to create an innovative P’eir/Torah Live pavilion. The idea is to have a Torah Live laptop, projector, and sound system that rabbis would book for an evening.
Exciting Firsts
26/10/2010First LIVE Kiruv Organizations: SEED, a nation-wide kiruv operation in the U.K., and Kesher, a successful outreach program in London, are both the first kiruv organizations to sign up to receive Torah Live training. Rabbi Roth will be traveling to London in December to equip them with the tools they need to share the valuable Torah Live material with their audiences.
